Participants are welcome from anywhere and prsently consist of people from various churches in the area. These are people who meet weekly to share their love of the game and fellowship. This group was begun by Vivian Dement and our current contact person is Judy Bradt.

Traditionally, players sit four people per table. Everyone rolls three dice, trying to roll the number corresponding to the current round. For example, during Round 4, you’re trying to roll 4s. Each matching die scores a point.
A few important parts of the game:
- Three matching target numbers in one roll is a Bunco and usually scores 21 points.
- Players compete in two-person teams, but partners and tables change during play, so you interact with different people throughout the evening.
- One table is designated the head table. Its progress determines when a round ends, often announced by ringing a bell.
- After each round, winners generally move to another table while losers remain or rotate according to the group’s rules.
- Players often keep track of individual accomplishments such as most Buncos, most wins, most losses, etc., with small prizes awarded at the end.
The rules themselves are almost secondary. Bunco is essentially a structured excuse for a dozen people to get together, eat, talk, laugh, and occasionally remember that they’re supposed to be rolling dice!
