We sent 48 packed shoeboxes. 1 large storage bin of brand new clothes (jeans, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc) 1 bin of slightly used clothes(looked brand new) 1 bin of winter hats, gloves, scarfs and mittens, 1 jumbo garbage bag of blankets, 1 large garbage bag of coats, 2 sewing machines, boxes of sneakers, and a few other items. There was so much stuff the Lawrence’s had to make two trips to get it all.

This year to make our 122 Operation Christmas Child  shoeboxes and our 48 Red Bird Mission shoeboxes more personalized we included a Christmas card with a personal message for its recipient from our church! We wanted to emphasize the love that went into these shoeboxes from us, just for them and also the message that Jesus loves them!
