January 26 — The American Red Cross

Every 8 minutes the American Red Cross responds to an emergency preventing and alleviating human suffering.

February 19 — American Heart Association

Since its founding in 1924, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. And, yet there are so many lives to be saved. To date, 19 million high blood pressure patients have been helped, 22 million have been trained in CPR every year.

March 16 — UMCOR

Supporting programs that fight hunger and poverty, assist the displaced and respond to disasters.

April 20 — MUMC Camperships / Scholarships

May 18 — Griffin’s Guardians

Bringing awareness to Pediatric Cancer, assisting in funding Pediatric Cancer research, bringing hope to families with children battling cancer in Central New York.

June 15 — Brown Memorial

Brown Memorial offers various outreach programs for the underprivileged on Syracuse’s west side.

July 20 — Friends of Oswego County Hospice

Friends of Hospice in Oswego County provides financial and non-medical assistance, as well as bereavement services, to help enhance the time Oswego County patients and their families have together, and to support them following their loss.

August 17 — Operation Christmas Child

September 21 — Minetto Elementary School Holiday Drive

October 19 — OCO Crisis & Development Services

OCO inspires partnerships and provides services that empower people, support communities and change lives for the better. November 16 Fisher House Foundation The foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.

December 21 — Human Concerns

An emergency food pantry offering 3 days worth of food to each qualifying person in a household for those living within the Oswego City School District.
